FCI Levadia defeated Vaprus 6:1 in Pärnu!

In the 13th round of the Premium Liiga, FCI Levadia continued their dominant form by crushing Pärnu JK Vaprus 6–1 away from home and remaining unbeaten in the league this season.

At Pärnu Rannastaadion, Levadia quickly turned an early setback into a commanding victory, securing their seventh consecutive league win. Levadia’s winning ship sailed confidently through the Summer Capital — after Mark Anders Lepik’s opener, the league leaders responded with six unanswered goals.

Levadia started the match with intense pressure, but after just two and a half minutes the visitors were stunned. A sharp pass from Sander Kapper found Mark Anders Lepik via a fortunate touch, and his finish gave Vaprus a 1–0 lead.

However, the league leaders responded immediately. Only three minutes later, Premium Liiga’s top assist provider Mihkel Ainsalu delivered a precise pass to Bubacarr Tambedou, who equalised at 1–1.

Levadia’s pressure continued, and in the ninth minute the game completely turned in the visitors’ favour. Ainsalu’s free kick from a tight angle deflected off Matthias Limberg into the net to make it 2–1. Just four minutes later, Ainsalu struck again, firing home from the edge of the box after a corner-kick situation for 3–1.

Midway through the first half, Levadia had several more chances to extend their lead. Tambedou hit the crossbar following another Ainsalu cross, while Ainsalu himself struck the post with a long-range effort. The fourth goal finally arrived just before halftime when Frank Liivak’s shot took a deflection off Wendell and surprised Vaprus goalkeeper Ott Nõmm for 4–1.

The second half continued at a high tempo. Nõmm made several strong saves, while Levadia goalkeeper Karl Andre Vallner was also called into action on a few occasions. In the 65th minute, Wendell converted Liivak’s cross to make it 5–1, and substitute Joao Pedro completed the scoring in the 90th minute after calmly finishing a pass from Tambedou — 6–1.

With the emphatic victory, Levadia remain at the top of the Premium Liiga table and are still unbeaten this season.

Levadia’s next match will also be away from home, as they travel to face Tartu JK Tammeka next Saturday. The match at Tamme Stadium kicks off at 17:00 and will be broadcast live on Soccernet TV.
