OFFICIAL: FCI Levadia strengthens its squad with more attacking power!
FCI Levadia is delighted to announce the signing of a new addition to the first team from the Danish club Lyngby. A contract has been signed with 20-year-old Ghanaian talent Enock Otoo!
At just 20 years old, the attacking midfielder moved from his home country in Africa to Denmark’s Nordsjaelland U19 team in the summer of 2022. By January 2024, he was representing Danish club Lyngby. Otoo’s technical skills and quick feet make him a great asset to the team.
The FCI Levadia first team will reconvene for pre-season training tomorrow, January 7th. With bigger goals this year, preparations will kick off with full energy. Both new foreign players will be present in Estonia for the first training session.
Enock Otoo: “I know that Levadia is a team that loves to control possession, dominate, and pose threats to opponents, and that’s something I want to be a part of. I believe that having possession to harm opponents and working together as a team will bring us victory week after week. What made me join the club was the plan presented to me. The head coach and the club clearly explained how they will help me develop as a player and how I fit into the team. As a young player, this was very important to me. I also know that this is a team that provides opportunities for young players to prove themselves, which was another big factor in my decision. For me, the team always comes first—when the team performs well, individual achievements also shine. My goals are to use my skills to help the team win every week and, of course, to win the league and qualify for Europe. I’m ready to commit through both good and challenging times because we stand together as a team, not as individuals. I can’t wait to start training and meet the fans at the stadium. To the fans—I’ve heard how important you are to this club, and I’m looking forward to seeing you cheer us on as we play to bring you joy. Together, we can create even more memories this year. Vamos, Levadia!”
Viktor Levada: “Welcome to the club, Enock Otoo! We’ve signed a young and talented player who comes from one of Africa’s best academies. From his home country, he moved to Danish clubs and now to Estonia—we see great potential in him! I believe we can support each other in achieving new goals. A big thank you to Lyngby for their professional cooperation. I wish Enock and the team much success for the new season!”
