FCI Levadia face Tartu Tammeka away from home

On Wednesday, April 22, FCI Levadia will play their Premium Liiga Round 8 match away against Tartu JK Tammeka. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 at the Sepa Football Centre in Tartu.

League standings before the match

Ahead of the eighth round, Levadia sit in 3rd place in the league table, remaining among the शीर्ष contenders at the start of the season. Tammeka are currently in 7th position. FCI Levadia have recorded four wins and three draws from seven matches, while Tartu Tammeka have two wins, one draw and four defeats.

Recent form

Levadia come into the match in good rhythm, having shown consistent performances in recent league fixtures and collecting valuable points. Just last Sunday, the green shirts secured an important 4–0 victory over FC Flora. The team has been effective in attack and solid in defence, keeping them near the top of the table.

Tammeka’s recent results have been more inconsistent. While the Tartu side have shown fighting spirit and managed to pick up points, they have lacked stability. Former FCI Levadia assistant coach Karel Voolaid will certainly be eager to take points against his former club and climb higher in the standings. In their previous match, Tartu Tammeka played out a 0–0 draw against Pärnu JK Vaprus.

Head-to-head

History clearly favours Levadia – in the last 20 meetings between the teams, Levadia have won 17 times, with three matches ending in draws. However, previous results will not count for anything on Wednesday, and a hard-fought contest is expected from both sides.

Match preview

Levadia travel to Tartu with a clear objective: to continue their winning run and stay in close contention at the top of the table. For Tammeka, this is an opportunity to surprise at home and earn valuable points.

FCI Levadia midfielder Mark Oliver Roosnupp:
“A tough away game in Tartu – we’re going for three points and will give our maximum to return to Tallinn with a win.”

FCI Levadia supporters are warmly invited to travel to Tartu and support the team at the Sepa artificial turf pitch. Those unable to attend can watch the match live via Soccernet. Kick-off in Tartu is at 19:00.
