OFFICIAL: FCI Levadia welcomes a familiar striker to the team
FCI Levadia is delighted to announce the signing of 22-year-old striker Bubacarr Tambedou from Gambia for the new season!
Tambedou, hailing from the West African nation of Gambia, is no stranger to Estonian football fans. The striker previously played for Paide Linnameeskond in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, he made a brief move to Moldova, joining FC Sheriff, where he secured the Moldovan championship title and the cup with the team.
Later that year, he transferred from Paide Linnameeskond to the Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv but had to leave due to the prevailing situation in the country. Following that, he signed with the Georgian club Dinamo Batumi. Now, Tambedou is returning to Estonia, this time as part of FCI Levadia.
In the 2023/2024 season, Tambedou accumulated 1406 minutes of play, scored 3 goals, and made 3 assists. In 2022, during his first season with Paide Linnameeskond, he scored a crucial goal in European competitions, helping the team reach the third round of the Conference League. For Paide, he played 36 matches and scored 14 goals.
