FCI Levadia drew 2-2 with the Hungarian side Debreceni VSC in Belek
FCI Levadia Tallinn drew 2-2 with the Hungarian OTP Bank Liga side Debreceni VSC in a pre-season friendly played in Belek, Turkey.
FCI Levadia goalkeeper Sergei Lepmets saved a penalty on the 5th minute of the match. The striker Nikita Andreev set up a two-goal lead in the first half before Haris Tabakovic made it 2-1 just a few minutes before the break. Kevin Nagy levelled the match in the late phase of the second half.
“It was an equal match with high quality, both teams had several good chances to score goals. A draw against a strong opponent from Hungary is a good result for us. Our players managed to adopt to the high tempo of the game and played very good football,” FC Levadia sports director Sergei Pareiko quoted.
On Monday, FCI Levadia will play a friendly against FC Kaysar Kyzylorda from the top flight of Kazakhstan. In the last match of the training camp, FCI Levadia will face the Georgian Erovnuli Liga side FC Dinamo Batumi on Thursday, February 15.
