Training Camp Summary. Next Match Against Bayern Munich B!

On January 24, FCI Levadia’s first team traveled to Spain for a training camp. So far, two friendly matches have been played, and up next, on January 31, the team will face Bayern Munich B!

FCI Levadia – Rapid Vienna | 25.01

The team arrived in Spain last Friday. The first friendly match was held just a day later, on January 25, against Rapid Vienna. The match was played with two 60-minute halves. Against the Austrian giants, Levadia had to acknowledge a 2:4 defeat.

Rapid Vienna, currently third in the Austrian league, took a two-goal lead in the first half, with the score at 0:2 by the 35th minute. In the second half, Levadia opened their scoring in the 55th minute with a goal from Richie Musaba, assisted by Enock Otoo. The Austrians scored again in the 83rd and 101st minutes. Five minutes before the official match time ended (in the 115th minute), Tanel Tammik, who recently joined from Tartu JK Tammeka, scored his debut goal with a header from a Henri Järvelaid cross.

FCI Levadia – La Nucia | 28.01

After the first match, the team had two training days before facing La Nucia on January 28. In this second friendly match, the green shirts had to accept a 0:1 loss against the local fifth-division team. Although the second half was played mostly in front of the opponent’s goal, a defensive error allowed La Nucia to score on a counterattack.

The third friendly match of the training camp will take place tomorrow, January 31, when the first team faces the reserve squad of German powerhouse Bayern Munich. The match at Estadio Olímpico Camilo Cano will kick off at 15:00. There will be no live broadcast, but match updates and goals will be available on FCI Levadia’s Instagram account.
