Third Friendly Match: A 1:1 Draw Against Bayern Munich’s Reserve Team

On January 31, FCI Levadia’s first team played their third friendly match of the Spanish training camp against Bayern Munich B. The match ended in a 1:1 draw.

The first two matches in the training camp against Rapid Vienna and La Nucia ended in 2:4 and 0:1 defeats, respectively. This time, however, the team achieved a better result, securing a 1:1 draw against Bayern Munich’s reserve team.

The starting lineup included Karl Andre Vallner, Edgar Tur, Rasmus Peetson, Tanel Tammik, Michael Schjonning-Larsen, Alexandre Lopes Gomes, Mihkel Ainsalu, Richie Musaba, Joao Pedro, Enock Otoo, and Bubacarr Tambedou.

The match against Bayern’s reserves, who play in Germany’s fourth tier, was evenly contested. Throughout the first half, both teams displayed solid defensive efforts, keeping the score at 0:0. At the beginning of the second half, Levadia took the lead when Gregor Lehtmets opened the scoring in the 68th minute. Lehtmets joined Levadia this year from Viimsi JK, a team competing in the Estonian Esiliiga.

However, just six minutes later, in the 74th minute, the German team managed to equalize. The final score remained 1:1.

Levadia still has four more friendly matches scheduled during the training camp, with the next one set for February 5 against Valencia’s reserve team!
