The U21 team lost the Tallinn derby

In the first Tallinn derby of the Esiliiga season, Tallinna FC Flora U21 secured a victory, defeating Tallinna FCI Levadia U21 3–1 in the 4th round.

The match, played on April 5, started at a high tempo – Levadia’s U21 side took the lead in the 9th minute through Gregor Lehtmets. Flora U21 responded quickly: just eight minutes later, Tevan Thor Eensalu equalized.

In the middle of the first half, Flora took control of the game, with Oscar Pihela putting the visitors ahead in the 29th minute. The first half ended with Flora leading 2–1.

In the second half, Levadia U21 tried to get back into the game, but late in the match the visitors struck again. In the 84th minute, Marten Kukkonen sealed the final score at 3–1, securing three points for Flora.

The clash between the Tallinn clubs delivered plenty of goals and high tempo, confirming that matches between the youth teams of the two major clubs are always intense and unpredictable.

FCI Levadia U21 will play their next Esiliiga match against Maardu Linnameeskond. The game will take place in Maardu on April 11 at 12:30, with a live broadcast on jalgpall.ee.
