The grass game series starts with a victory – Tammeka defeated 4–0!
Today, on April 26, FCI Levadia played their first home match of the season at A. Le Coq Arena, hosting Tartu JK Tammeka in the 10th round of the Premium Liiga. The home team delivered a confident performance, securing an emphatic 4–0 win and adding three valuable points to their tally.
Tammeka is the only opponent Levadia has faced twice this season. While the first meeting in Tartu ended with a tense 3–2 victory, this time Levadia managed to demonstrate their superiority even more convincingly.
Starting lineup: Karl Andre Vallner (GK), Michael Schjonning-Larsen, Mark Oliver Roosnupp, Edgar Tur, Brent Lepistu, Mihkel Ainsalu, Ernest Agyiri, Til Mavretic (C), Richie Musaba, Joao Pedro, and Victory Sunday, who made his Premium Liiga starting debut.
Compared to the first encounter, today’s match proved to be considerably smoother for Levadia, as confirmed by Brent Lepistu, who scored twice and shared his thoughts after the game. The team dominated the attacking phase and made the most of their opportunities – the fourth goal was scored in added time (90+3).
The true star of the match was Ernest Agyiri, who assisted all four goals. First, his shot rebounded off the goalkeeper, allowing Richie Musaba to calmly slot the ball into the net and open the scoring. Then came Agyiri’s precise corner kicks, both converted into goals by Brent Lepistu’s headers. For the fourth goal, Agyiri delivered a perfect cross to Enock Otoo, who finished confidently. With this performance, Agyiri also climbed to the top of the Premium Liiga assists leaderboard.
Substitutions: Robert Kirss, Enock Otoo, and Bubacarr Tambedou came on in the 75th minute, Frank Liivak joined in the 78th, and Tanel Tammik entered the field in the 82nd minute.
Our next home match is just around the corner, on Mother’s Day, May 11, when we will face Paide Linnameeskond again at A. Le Coq Arena. Paide remains the only team to have taken points from us this season, promising an especially fiery clash ahead! Tickets for the match are available here.
