Revenge Against Kalju – 3:1 Victory!

Today, on June 21st, the A. Le Coq Arena hosted the Premium Liiga Matchday 20 clash between FCI Levadia and Nõmme Kalju FC. The match had a special meaning thanks to a collaboration with the charity foundation Minu Unistuste Päev (My Dream Day) – together, we supported children with severe and chronic illnesses. On the sporting side, Levadia claimed a convincing 3:1 victory.

From the opening minutes, it was clear that Levadia stepped onto the pitch with a strong desire for revenge after the cup final loss and to solidify their position in the league table. The team started dominantly, and within the first ten minutes had already created several dangerous chances. The breakthrough came in the 17th minute, when Ernest Agyiri took advantage of a rebound off the opposing goalkeeper and made it 1:0 for Levadia.

Just before halftime, Levadia doubled their lead – Mark Oliver Roosnupp finished off a precise pass from Agyiri to make it 2:0.

In the second half, Levadia’s dominance continued, but in the 55th minute Kalju managed to pull one back. The response came quickly – just two minutes later, Ernest Agyiri scored again, this time from a corner.

Agyiri was undoubtedly the hero of the match, scoring twice and providing an assist – playing a role in all three Levadia goals.

The match was attended by 656 spectators at the stadium. Together, we raised an impressive €2,975 for the Minu Unistuste Päev foundation – a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed!
