Ukrainian midfielder Ihor Zhurakhovskyi has re-joined FCI Levadia

The first team of FCI Levadia received an important addition today when the Ukrainian midfielder Ihor Zhurakhovskyi rejoined the team.

Zhurakhovskyi, 25, also played in the FCI Levadia’s green shirt in two advantageous seasons, but then stayed away from the field for a long time due to injury. The last time the Ukrainian midfield maestro played for FCI Levadia in the Premium League was more than a year ago – in the home game held on April 28, 2019 against FC Flora. In total, he has 13 games and 3 goals on his name in the Premium League.

“I am very happy to be able to play for FCI Levadia again! I feel good and I hope the injuries are a thing of the past. I am looking forward to the upcoming Premium League matches – there is a great hunger for play,” Zhurakhovskyi said.

“At the beginning of last season, Ihor was one of our key players – his injury and the long break that followed gave us a serious setback. Unfortunately, the recovery did not go as expected, Ihor was on treatment abroad during the coronavirus break. Now he has been training with the FC Levadia main team team for two weeks, he feels well and ready to participate in the games. I sincerely hope that Ihor will get into good shape quickly,” said Sergei Pareiko, Sports Director of FCI Levadia.
