Richard Aland has left FCI Levadia
Goalkeeper Richard Aland left FCI Levadia due to the termination of the contract
“Our cooperation with Richard was short, but extremely pleasant! Richard is a very friendly and likeable goalkeeper with an exceptionally dedicated, determined, hardworking and professional goalkeeper. We made a proposal to him to continue the cooperation, but he decided to reject it because he wants to be the main goalkeeper of his team in the new season and earn more playing time. It was an honest and understandable approach on his part, ”said Sergei Pareiko, Sports Director of FCI Levadia.
“We are very grateful to Richard for what he has done for our club and team, and we wish him a lot of success on his way forward! Good and mutually friendly relations will continue and it is not excluded that one day our paths will cross again, ”Pareiko added.
“I am very grateful to the FCI Levadia club, the coaches and the whole team for the time spent together, I enjoyed the environment and the trainings, I always gave my best on the field within the limits entrusted to me! I want to take the next step in my career and get more playing time – that’s why I decided not to sign a new contract. I sincerely hope that the new season will be a real success for FCI Levadia and that long-term dreams and goals will come true! Who knows, maybe our cooperation will continue in a while, ”said Aland.
Aland, 26, joined FCI Levadia at the end of July from FC Flora. In the FCI Levadia shirt, he had one match in the Premium League and eight matches in the Premier League for the FCI Levadia U21 team.
Aland was born in Tartu and started his football career in JK Merkur there under the coach Andrus Meinhard, later he moved to another Tartu SK 10 Premium. At the level of the Premium League, Aland has represented Nõmme Kalju (2013-2014) and FC Flora (2015-2020) for a long time, also JK Vaprus Pärnu (2018) on the loan basis.
