FCI Levadia signed the North Macedonian striker Strahinja Krstevski
FCI Levadia signed an one-year contract with striker Strahinja Krstevski, with the possibility of extending it for another two years.
Krstevski, 23, was born in Novi Sad, Serbia, but has both Serbian and Northern Macedonian citizenship, and has also represented youth teams from both countries.
The former home clubs of the 193 cm long striker include FK Vojvodina Novi Sad, Lokomotiv Sofia, FK Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, Rabotnicki Skopje and FK Samtredia.
“It’s nice to be in Estonia! My impressions of FCI Levadia so far are very good, I like our players, coaches and staff members. The work takes place on a very professional level. When I came to Estonia, I didn’t expect the level of football here to be so high. I hope we have a good season ahead of us and we will win the championship,” said Krstevski.
“I like to play with the ball, also with my back to the opponents. The style of FCI Levadia suits me because the team constantly wants to attack and find ways to score goals. I hope to have a lot of playing time and be productive,” the striker added.
“Starhinja got better day by day after arriving to the trial. He proved his quality in the games. We are very happy that Strahina has joined us! As a tall and fast striker, he fits well into our football philosophy. FCI Levadia could be a place for him to develop as a player and find the brilliance that characterized him three or four years ago when Starhinja was considered one of the most talented players in his region, ”commented Sergei Pareiko, Sports Director of FCI Levadia.
Strahinja Krstevski is the tenth winter addition to FCI Levadia – Zakaria Beglarišvili, Karl Andre Vallner, Milijan Ilić, Anton Tolordava, Volodymyr Bayenko, Luka Luković, Aamir Abdallah Yunis, Ernest Agyiri and Frank Liivak joined the team.
