Levadia travels to Narva – the penultimate battle of the Premium Liiga season awaits
Today, November 2 at 14:00, FCI Levadia’s first team will play the penultimate match of the Premium Liiga season, facing JK Narva Trans away. The match will be broadcast live on ETV2!
The teams have already met three times in the league this season, and all three matches have ended in victories for Levadia, giving the team strong confidence ahead of today’s clash.
The first meeting ended in a 1–0 win for Levadia, with Joao Pedro converting a penalty in April. The second league match finished 2–1, with goals from Robert Kirss and Richie Musaba. The third encounter ended in a convincing 3–1 win, with Bubacarr Tambedou scoring twice and Carlos Torres adding one.
The sides also met in the Estonian Cup (Tipner Cup) semifinal in May, where Levadia again came out on top with a 1–0 victory — with Bubacarr Tambedou once again the match-winner.
The overall historical record also favors Levadia: in the last 20 meetings, Levadia have secured 18 wins and 2 draws, with no defeats. A total of 54 goals have been scored in these matches — 47 by Levadia and 7 by Narva Trans — an average of 2.7 goals per match.
Today’s match is crucial in the title fight — dropping points is not an option, as that would settle the title race. We fight until the final round!
Curro Torres: “We are going to Narva with the goal of winning. We continue to believe in our chances in the title race. It will be a tough match and a real battle. We must perform at a very high level to take all three points.”
Tanel Tammik: “We are in the final stretch and there is no room for mistakes. Preparation is done, and we are heading to Narva to bring back three points.”
We wish the team success! The opening whistle in Narva sounds at 14:00 — keep your fingers crossed and watch the match live on ETV2!
