Levadia Reach Tipner Cup Final – Tambedou Secures the Victory!
FCI Levadia Tallinn achieved their clear goal in the Tipner Cup semifinal by defeating Narva Trans 1–0 and securing a place in the final.
The match started in a balanced and uneventful manner, but Levadia maintained control throughout. One of the few notable moments in the first half came as early as the 7th minute, when a Narva Trans forward received the ball in the box. Rasmus Peetson intervened, prompting the referee to award a penalty. Fortunately, Kabore fired the ball over the crossbar and the score remained unchanged.
The decisive goal came in the 43rd minute from Bubacarr Tambedou, who showcased his individual brilliance by dribbling past several opponents and finishing with a precise strike. This gave Levadia the crucial lead just before the break.
In the second half, Levadia continued to play with discipline and maturity – staying compact, controlling the tempo, and denying Trans any serious chances. Both teams did manage to create a few opportunities: Enock Otoo hit the crossbar once and Henri Järvelaid tested the Trans goalkeeper with a dangerous free-kick. Narva chased an equalizer, but Levadia’s defense held strong until the end.
When the final whistle blew, Levadia had secured a deserved 1–0 win and a place in the Tipner Cup final. Huge thanks to all our fans for the support – this is a shared step toward another trophy!
The Tipner Cup final will take place on May 24, where we’ll face Nõmme Kalju FC.
