Levadia claim a convincing 4:0 victory in Narva – the title will be decided in the final round!

Today, November 2, the Premium Liiga Round 35 match ended with a convincing 4:0 win for FCI Levadia against JK Narva Trans. With this victory, Levadia keep their title hopes alive, and it is now clear that the Estonian champion will be decided only in the final round!

Starting lineup:
Karl Andre Vallner (GK), Michael Schjonning-Larsen, Tanel Tammik, Mark Oliver Roosnupp, Rasmus Peetson (C), Edgar Tur, Mihkel Ainsalu, Til Mavretic, Carlos Torres, Victory Iboro, Wendell Gabriel.

Narva Trans started the match with strong pressure, but it faded quickly. Trans produced a couple of dangerous shots early on, but in the 10th minute Levadia took control — Carlos Torres skillfully turned inside the box and sent the ball into the net via a deflection. 1:0!

Just two minutes later, Levadia doubled the lead — Til Mavretic scored for the second league match in a row, having also found the net against Vaprus. These two goals are his only ones in the Premium Liiga this season.

In the 34th minute came another highlight — on a counterattack, Mark Oliver Roosnupp delivered a perfect cross to Mihkel Ainsalu, who slotted the ball home. 3:0 at halftime and full control!

In the second half, Levadia continued to dominate and created several chances, most of which went unrealized. The fourth goal finally came in the 81st minute, when substitute Maksimilian Skvortsov scored the second goal of his Premium Liiga career. 4:0!

Narva Trans were reduced to ten men in the 67th minute, as former Levadia player Gero received a second yellow card and was sent off.

A special mention — congratulations to Gregor Lehtmets on making his Premium Liiga debut!

Mark Oliver Roosnupp was named Man of the Match — he played 85 minutes and provided two assists.

This victory keeps the title race wide open — FC Flora still lead Levadia by one point, and everything will be decided in the last round, where the teams will face Harju and Vaprus respectively. Everything is still possible!
