Jevgeni Gurtšioglujants becomes the new CEO of FCI Levadia!
FCI Levadia announces that Jevgeni Gurtšioglujants, who has worked with the club for many years, will become its new CEO.
After the departure of the previous CEO, Sergei Hohlov-Simson, in 2022, the CEO duties were temporarily handled by one of the club’s presidents, Andrei Leškin. Now, FCI Levadia has decided to make a change, and the CEO role will be taken on by Jevgeni Gurtšioglujants, a long-time member of the club.
Jevgeni Gurtšioglujants is a former FCI Levadia player who has also represented the Estonian U17 and U19 youth national teams. As a player, he became a six-time Esiliiga champion, including five consecutive titles with Levadia’s reserve team, scoring 100 goals in Esiliiga. In the Premium Liiga, he played 71 matches and scored three goals. Additionally, as part of the coaching team of the first squad, he has won two Estonian championships and one Supercup.
Until now, Gurtšioglujants served as the assistant coach for FCI Levadia’s U17 team and as the manager of the first team.
Club President Viktor Levada: “I am very pleased to see that not only young footballers but also members of our management team are growing within the club! I wish Jevgeni great success and achievements in his new position!”
Jevgeni Gurtšioglujants: “First of all, I want to thank the club presidents for this honor and trust. I am also deeply grateful to all the staff and coaches of the club I have worked with over the past years. Levadia is a club with a rich and storied history, and this new role is a significant challenge and responsibility. We have even greater goals ahead, both for the first team and the football school. I want Levadia to be a home for many young, talented players who will one day join the first team and help the club win titles.”
