FCI Levadia will host FC Kuressaare on Sunday in the Premium League
The Green Shirts will host FC Kuressaare on Sunday, July 21, in the 20th round of the Premium League. The match will kick off at 17:00, and tickets are available on Piletitasku.
Levadia comes to the Premium League match with high spirits, having played a 0-0 draw at home against FA Šiauliai on Thursday, winning 2-0 on aggregate, and advancing to the second qualifying round of the Conference League. In the next round, they will face the Croatian top club Osijek, who finished fourth in their domestic league last year. The first match will be played away next Thursday, followed by the home leg a week later.
Before that, however, they have a 20th-round home match in the league against FC Kuressaare. The teams have met twice this season, with the Green Shirts winning both times without conceding a goal: 2-0 and 6-0 victories.
Although FC Kuressaare is in the penultimate position, it is somewhat misleading as only two points separate the 5th and 9th places. In their last five matches, FC Kuressaare has lost only one, won one, and drawn three. They lost 0-2 to Paide, won 1-0 away against Narva Trans, and drew 0-0 with Tammeka, 2-2 with Kalev, and 0-0 with Nõmme United.
In their last five matches, including two European games, Levadia has won four and drawn one – the last European match at home, drawing 0-0 with Šiauliai. During this period, the Green Shirts have conceded only one goal, beating Narva Trans 2-1. Additionally, they defeated FA Šiauliai 2-0 away, FC Flora 1-0 in the Premium League, and Nõmme United 6-0.
More information about the match can be found on FCI Levadia’s Facebook event, and tickets are, of course, available only on Piletitasku. Tickets will also be available at the stadium box office on match day. See you on Sunday at 17:00 at A. Le Coq Arena!
