FCI Levadia thanks U21 head coach Santi Garcia for his work!

FCI Levadia announces that the tenure of U21 head coach Santiago Garcia, who joined the club ahead of the 2023 season, has come to an end. We sincerely thank him for his contribution to the development of our U21 team and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours!

Garcia, who led FCI Levadia U21 for three seasons in the Esiliiga, arrived from Valencia, Spain, together with first-team head coach Curro Torres. Both coaches began their work with the first team and the U21 squad simultaneously.

Under Garcia’s guidance, the U21 team remained in the Esiliiga. Thanks to consistent work and steady development, several players progressed to the first team — including Maksimilian Skvortsov and Hubert Liiv.

Seasons under Garcia as U21 head coach

2023 season (first season):
Levadia finished 4th in the Esiliiga. Out of 36 matches, the team won 16, lost 11 and drew 9. The goal difference was +11, and the team collected 57 points.

2024 season (second season):
The team finished the season in 6th place. They recorded 13 wins, 18 losses and 5 draws. The goal difference was -11, with a total of 44 points.

2025 season (third season):
Garcia’s third year secured the team’s league status, finishing 7th. The squad earned 12 wins, 15 losses and 9 draws. The goal difference was -5, and a total of 45 points was collected.

Garcia has also been recognised multiple times as the Esiliiga Coach of the Month, most recently in October this year.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone at the club for their dedication, to my coaching staff for their professionalism, and especially to all the players I’ve had the privilege to coach. I leave with great satisfaction, having seen many fulfil their dream of debuting in the First Team.

I leave fully satisfied and deeply grateful for these three exceptional years, during which we achieved all the goals I was hired to accomplish.

Now it is time to wait for a new opportunity and prepare myself for new professional challenges.”
