FCI Levadia secured their fifth draw of the season in the match against JK Narva Trans.
The Premium League Round 27 match, which began on September 14, concluded yesterday, October 2, with the teams playing to a 0-0 draw.
The match between FCI Levadia and JK Narva Trans, which began in mid-September, was initially stopped at the beginning of the second half due to poor weather conditions. Yesterday at 18:00, the game resumed from the 48:22 minute mark. The first half on September 14 ended in a 0-0 draw. Both teams started the second half with a strong desire to win.
At the beginning of the second half, FCI Levadia made a substitution: Joao Pedro entered the match in the 49th minute. Frank Liivak, who had received a yellow card in the 22nd minute of the first half, was substituted. Despite dominating play in the second half, the home team could not find the back of the net. FCI Levadia’s midfielder Richie Musaba had the most promising chances, but Matrossov successfully saved multiple attempts aimed at the goal.
The fifth draw of the season marked FCI Levadia’s fourth match this season in which the team did not score a single goal. Notably, they also failed to score in their 1-0 loss to FC Flora and in the 0-0 draws against FC Nõmme Kalju and FC Kuressaare.
The previous two matches between FCI Levadia and JK Narva Trans ended with scores of 6-0 and 1-2, with FCI Levadia collecting three points from both encounters. This Saturday, FCI Levadia and JK Narva Trans will meet again in the 31st round of the Premium League in Narva.
