FCI Levadia prepares for the second leg against FC Iberia
Tomorrow, July 29, FCI Levadia will face the second leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round against FC Iberia. The match will kick off at 19:00 Estonian time (20:00 local time) and will be broadcast live on Soccernet TV.
Levadia’s team began their journey to Tbilisi on Saturday, July 26. Despite a long and tiring trip, the first training session already took place yesterday. The players have managed to adapt to the hot conditions, and after today’s training, they are ready for tomorrow’s match.
The first leg in Tallinn ended with a 1–0 win for Levadia. This gives the team a slight advantage, but nothing is certain yet – a tough battle awaits in Georgia. FC Iberia will have the support of their home crowd and passionate fans.
Curro Torres: “It’s very important for us to play our best football for 90 minutes. Tomorrow we’ll have to endure a lot in different situations – the weather is different, and they’ll have strong home support. We must avoid simple mistakes and play better. That’s crucial. We have to stay very focused, play with good intensity and mentality, and show character. We’ll try to get a good result.”
Rasmus Peetson: “We’re going into the match with the mindset to win. We’re not going there to defend the result. That’s not our playing style. We need to play our game. We weren’t satisfied with our first-half performance in the first leg – we gave away too many chances through our own mistakes. There were also some errors in the second half that led to their opportunities. If we avoid those, we have a great chance to go through.”
Let’s support Levadia in tomorrow’s decisive match!
