FCI Levadia meets Viljandi JK Tulevik again after more than three years!

Tomorrow, on September 11th, FCI Levadia and Viljandi JK Tulevik will face off in the Tipner Cup Round of 32. The match will kick off at 19:00 at A. Le Coq Arena.

The Evald Tipner Cup Round of 32 kicked off on August 13th with some exciting matchups. While the first match took place in mid-August, the final match will be held on October 31st, featuring FC Flora and Paide Linnameeskond, who are currently in third and fourth place in the Premium League standings.

In this year’s Tipner Cup Round of 32, FCI Levadia will face Viljandi JK Tulevik. The last time these two teams competed against each other was on October 16, 2021, in the Premium League. Viljandi JK Tulevik is currently playing in the Esiliiga B, and they have lost their last three matches. FCI Levadia, on the other hand, has won two of their last three Premium League games but lost 2:1 to FC Flora in one.

FCI Levadia lifted the 2024 Tipner Cup after defeating Viimsi JK from the Esiliiga in the semifinals and Paide Linnameeskond in the final with a score of 4:2. Viljandi JK Tulevik made it to the Round of 32 in the 2024 Tipner Cup but had to exit the competition after a 5:1 loss to Nõmme Kalju FC.
