Experienced Kristen Viikmäe joins FCI Levadia!

The FCI Levadia family is growing and happily welcomes its new youth coordinator and senior coach for the football academy, Kristen Viikmäe!

The former Estonian national team player has joined FCI Levadia’s football academy and will be responsible for coordinating youth development. His main tasks will include advising youth coaches and developing young players at the academy.

Kristen Viikmäe, 45 years old, is a former Estonian international player with 115 appearances for his country, during which he scored 15 goals. He has won the Estonian championship three times: in 1998 with FC Flora, in 2003 again with FC Flora, and in 2012 with JK Nõmme Kalju. In addition to his domestic career, Viikmäe has also played abroad and won the Norwegian Cup once, in 2002.

Viikmäe’s prior experience in managing club activities will certainly benefit him in his new role. Previously, he worked on the development of the Viimsi Football Academy. His years-long football career at various levels has finally brought him to FCI Levadia, where Viikmäe will help coordinate youth development and share the valuable knowledge he has acquired.
