Charity Auction: Match Shirts from Karol Mets and Giorgi Mamardashvili!

As part of the charity football match taking place on June 21, FCI Levadia is once again hosting a social media auction, with 100% of the proceeds going to the My Dream Day Foundation. Two unique items have already been added to the auction.

Last year, FCI Levadia held its first charity match in collaboration with the My Dream Day Foundation — an event filled with unforgettable emotions. Together, we helped fulfill a young boy’s dream, made donations, and spent meaningful time together. It was a day of doing good.

Just like last year, this year also includes a variety of socially impactful activities in the lead-up to the match. For example, part of young Matvei’s dream day has already come true — he was able to join FCI Levadia’s first team for a training session and kick the ball around with the players, despite his health challenges. We’ve also invited public figures to share their experiences with mental health. The first to step forward was rapper villemdrillem, who opened up in a written interview about his own struggles. You can read it here. More awareness-raising activities are planned before June 21 to support youth mental health.

The auction is taking place on FCI Levadia’s official Facebook page. Currently, two items are up for bidding:

• Karol Mets’ match shirt – a shirt with historical and sentimental value, worn when Mets made his breakthrough into the Bundesliga. (Karol Mets is a centre-back for FC St. Pauli and the captain of the Estonian national team.)
• Giorgi Mamardashvili’s shirt – match-worn shirt from the goalkeeper of Valencia CF and the Georgian national team.

All auctions end on June 20 at 21:00, one day before the charity match. The items will be ceremonially handed over during halftime of the match, provided the winning bidder has completed the donation to the My Dream Day Foundation.

The charity match takes place on June 21 at 14:30. Tickets are available here. Half of all ticket sales will also be donated to My Dream Day to help fulfill the dreams of children with serious and chronic illnesses.
