In the lead-up to Mother’s Day, we’ve shared touching interviews on social media with the mothers of Levadia Football School and first-team players – to highlight how mothers support their children on their football journey.
Watch the interview with Brent Lepistu’s mother here.
At yesterday’s pre-match press conference, Brent Lepistu and Robi Saarma spoke alongside their mothers. As always, the head coaches Curro Torres and Ivan Stoiljković also gave their thoughts.
Monika Lepistu: “If the adrenaline levels of footballers’ mothers could be measured, we’d score high – both positive and negative moments bring a surge of it.”
Anneli Saarma: “All our holiday plans and activities revolve around Robi’s matches – there have even been times we’ve had to rearrange trips when a national team call-up came unexpectedly.”
See you tomorrow at the stadium! Get your tickets here.
