Victory over FC Kuressaare!
FCI Levadia earned a valuable away win yesterday, defeating FC Kuressaare 2–1 in the 10th round of the Premium liiga.
The match started in a challenging way for Levadia, as the home side Kuressaare took a 1–0 lead in the first half. Although the Greens created several good chances, they were unable to find the back of the net. Kuressaare used their opportunity efficiently and went into halftime with a narrow advantage.
In the second half, however, Levadia showed their character. Sustained pressure paid off when Tambedou equalised after an assist from Skvortsov, giving the team new momentum. The decisive moment came when Ainsalu scored a beautiful free kick to make it 2–1.
Levadia had a few more chances towards the end, but Kuressaare found no way back, and the final whistle confirmed an important victory. The three away points mean Levadia remain firmly at the top of the table.
Levadia extended their unbeaten run to ten matches and remain the only team in the league yet to suffer a defeat.

Post-match comments by captain Rasmus Peetson:
“Very important three points. And very hard-earned!” Peetson summed up the match. “We were a bit sluggish in the first half; in the second half we needed more aggression and determination on the ball, and a bit more quality. The pitch is the same for both teams. It’s a bit spring-like, but we have to adapt. We train on a similar surface, so we have to cope,” he said, avoiding excuses.
In the next round, the Greens face a new challenge as we play our first home match of the year on natural grass at A. Le Coq Arena. The opponent will be Harju JK Laagri, a strong side that has challenged everyone this season. The match kicks off next Saturday at 14:30. Come support the team at A. Le Coq Arena!
