U21 will face Tartu JK Welco away on Thursday

FCI Levadia U21 will play against Tartu JK Welco in the 6th round of the Esiliiga on Thursday.

The reserve team travels on Thursday evening to face the Esiliiga leaders Tartu JK Welco, who have won all five of their matches and sit at the top of the table with 15 points. Welco has shown strong form at the start of the season, convincingly defeating Kalev, Flora, Maardu, Nõmme United, and Nõmme Kalju.

FCI Levadia U21 has not had the best start to the season and currently sits second from bottom in the Esiliiga table. They won their opening match 2–0 against Nõmme Kalju, then narrowly lost 1–0 to Nõmme United, followed by a 3–2 away defeat to FC Elva. Their last two matches ended in losses against FC Flora U21 and Maardu Linnameeskond.

Head coach Dmitri Kruglov before the match:
“It will be an interesting game against an in-form Welco. We aim to put up strong resistance and return to Tallinn with points.”

Karl Markus Püvi:
“A good test for us. We want to add points from the match against Welco.”

The match at Holm Stadium in Tartu kicks off on Thursday at 19:00. The game will be broadcast live on the Estonian Football Association’s YouTube channel.
