Karl Andre Vallner and Mihkel Ainsalu Named the Best Players of the Season in Their Positions in the Premium League

FCI Levadia is delighted to announce that club players Karl Andre Vallner and Mihkel Ainsalu received individual awards for the Premium League season at the Estonian Football Association’s annual gala held yesterday.
Karl Andre Vallner was named the Premium League Goalkeeper of the Year, while Mihkel Ainsalu was selected as the Premium League Midfielder of the Year.

Karl Andre Vallner – Premium League Goalkeeper of the Year

Karl Andre Vallner was one of the most reliable and consistent goalkeepers in the Premium League this season. His performances between the posts played a key role in FCI Levadia’s success both in the league and in domestic cup competitions. Vallner stood out throughout the season with his composure, decisive saves, and high level of professionalism.
Over the course of the campaign, Vallner recorded 12 clean sheets, the highest total among all goalkeepers in the Premium League.

His contribution was crucial to Levadia’s defensive stability, and in several matches it was Vallner’s confident performances that kept the team competitive in the most demanding moments. The Goalkeeper of the Year award is a well-deserved recognition of his consistent work and high level throughout the season.

Mihkel Ainsalu – Premium League Midfielder of the Year

Mihkel Ainsalu, named the Premium League Midfielder of the Year, was one of the central figures in Levadia’s playing system. His work rate, game intelligence, and ability to control the tempo made him one of the standout midfielders in the league.

Ainsalu’s impact went far beyond statistics — his movement, pressing, passing decisions, and leadership on the pitch were integral parts of Levadia’s overall performance. He was consistent and dependable throughout the season and played a significant role in helping the team achieve its objectives both domestically and internationally.
In the 2025 Premium League season, Mihkel Ainsalu scored 10 goals and provided one assist, featuring in 35 league matches and accumulating 2,918 minutes of playing time.

FCI Levadia congratulates Karl Andre Vallner and Mihkel Ainsalu on their well-earned awards and is proud that the Premium League’s best goalkeeper and best midfielder represent Levadia.
