FCI Levadia Receives the Premium League “Event of the Year 2025” Award
Yesterday, on December 3, community managers gathered at the Estonian Football Association to review the past season and recognise outstanding achievements. One of the most significant awards — the “Event of the Year 2025” — was presented to FCI Levadia.
The award was received by our community manager Lauri Välja, who was honoured for organising a special home match in cooperation with Minu Unistuste Päev (“My Dream Day”). The event took place on June 21. My Dream Day focuses on fulfilling the dreams of children with severe and chronic illnesses — and this year, the collaboration highlighted the importance of mental health.
A key part of the project was fulfilling Matvei’s dream — we gave him the opportunity to join a first-team training session. We also organised a post-training picnic with other young participants, where they shared thoughts, talked, and played football together.
Several well-known supporters also contributed to the success of this special event, including Liis Velsker, Gameboy Tetris, villemdrillem, Karol Mets, Kristian Kullamäe, and many others. In addition, a charity auction was held, and the proceeds together with half of the match-day ticket revenue were donated to My Dream Day. The auction items were officially handed over on June 21 during the match-day programme.
We thank everyone on behalf of the entire club for this recognition and confirm that our cooperation with My Dream Day will continue in the future!
