Girls on the Rise: A Brilliant 2025 for Levadia’s Women’s Football Family
The recently concluded season for the Levadia Football School girls’ teams and the senior women’s squad was highly successful, filled with remarkable results and clear progress. Dedicated work, growing unity, and individual development were reflected in numerous awards and victories, proving that Levadia’s women’s football is moving confidently upward.
Senior Team – Three Years of Growth and a Path Toward the Meistriliiga
Re-established three seasons ago, Levadia’s senior women’s team has made an impressive developmental leap, both in individual skill and collective performance. A shining example of hard work and determination is team captain Simona Pihlak, who began playing football only when the team was formed. Today, she has become one of the key players in the starting lineup.
Forward Anastasia Ivanova also had an excellent season, finishing second in the league’s scoring chart with 17 goals. She also spent half the season representing Tabasalu’s Meistriliiga team.
It is especially encouraging that several young talents from Levadia’s own academy have joined the senior squad, consistently demonstrating maturity, confidence, and high-level performance in group-stage matches.
Head coach Olesia Parkhomovich emphasizes that enormous work has been done over the last three years, but even more lies ahead. “Based on this season, it’s clear that the goal of reaching the Meistriliiga is no longer far away. We will continue working toward this in 2026,” she said.
TU17 – A Strong Season and National Team Experience
The TU17 team, whose core consists mostly of 14-year-olds, delivered a very strong season, finishing third in the second group of their league.
Two key players – Alissa Klimenko and Nicole Ursini – have been regularly invited to the TU15 national team. They have participated in the Baltic Tournament as well as the UEFA U15 development tournament, where Klimenko was named Player of the Match in one of the games.
TU15 – Group Victory and a Step Up to a Higher Level
The TU15 girls won first place in their B-group this season, securing promotion to the A-group. Overall, they finished the season in an excellent third place.
Several players – Eva Sergejeva, Zlata Kobyčeva, Anna Piskunova, Katerina Grümbau, and Daniella Zinkovski – received call-ups to the TU14 national team. Sergejeva even wore the captain’s armband in one of the national team’s friendly matches, a remarkable achievement for such a young player.
TU13 – Champions of the 2025 Season
The TU13 girls delivered the club’s most prestigious title of the season by winning their group, which included 17 teams.
They were crowned 2025 TU13 champions, winning 14 of 16 matches and scoring an impressive 60 goals.
Head coach Olesia Parkhomovich: “The 2025 season proves that if you truly want something and work consistently to achieve it, anything is possible.”
She is extremely proud of all the girls in the Levadia academy – from the youngest players to the senior squad – and expresses heartfelt thanks to all parents for their cooperation and support.
We are proud of our women’s football family and wish everyone strength for the upcoming season!
