Peetson, Vallner, Tammik and Larsen named to national team for matches against Norway and Cyprus

Although the Premium League season came to an end today, November 8, the Estonian men’s national football team still has two matches ahead – one against Norway and one against Cyprus.

Four FCI Levadia players have been called up for the final international window of the year: captain Rasmus Peetson, Michael Schjonning-Larsen, Tanel Tammik, and goalkeeper Karl Andre Vallner.

The first opponent for Estonia will be Norway, in the final match of the World Cup qualifying campaign – a return fixture to be played away. The home match against Norway ended in a narrow 0–1 defeat. Estonia produced a strong first half, holding the score at 0–0, but Norway managed to score late in the game to secure the win. The upcoming match against Norway will take place on November 13 at 19:00 at Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo.

The second match of the window will be a friendly against Cyprus. The teams last met in 2022, when Cyprus claimed a 2–0 victory. This year’s final international fixture will take place on November 18 at 19:00 at Alphamega Stadium in Limassol.

The Estonian national team will gather on Monday, November 10. We wish the blue-shirts the best of luck!
