FCI Levadia strengthens squad with young Spanish talent – Carlos Torres joins the club

We are delighted to announce that Carlos Torres, the son of FCI Levadia’s head coach Curro Torres, is joining the club from Levante U19! This marks Torres’ first professional contract.

FCI Levadia has made a valuable addition to its squad by signing young Spanish central midfielder Carlos Torres. Born in 2006, Torres joins the Tallinn-based club after an impressive season with Levante UD U19, where he was a regular in the starting lineup and stood out for his game intelligence and consistency.

Torres spent his entire youth career in the Levante system, playing 31 matches and accumulating over 2,500 minutes during the 2024/25 season. Despite being a central midfielder, he scored three goals and contributed in attack, though his main strengths lie in controlling the tempo of the game and supporting the defensive line.

Though just 18 years old, Torres has demonstrated a mature playing style and strong positional awareness, which also earned him the captain’s armband in the youth team on several occasions.

In recent seasons, FCI Levadia has consciously invested in the development of young talents, both local and international. Torres joins the club with the aim of integrating into the first team and the U21 squad.

Carlos Torres: “I’m very happy to begin this new phase. I’m looking forward to giving my all to the team so we can achieve our goal. I know we’ll achieve it together!”

Viktor Levada: “We believe and hope that he will grow into the kind of footballer his father was. We wish him great success in his professional career and are pleased to welcome him to FCI Levadia!”
