TOMORROW! Levadia and Trans face off at A. Le Coq Arena
Already tomorrow, June 27, we continue the Premium Liiga round 18 action as we host JK Narva Trans at A. Le Coq Arena. Kick-off is at 19:00!
Although we have already played 18 matches in the Premium Liiga, our last game against Nõmme Kalju was technically part of round 20. That match was brought forward in the schedule to avoid clashing with European competitions. Now, it’s time for the official round 18 showdown against Narva Trans.
This season, we’ve faced Trans only once in the league — on April 5 in Narva. We also met them in the Tipner Cup quarterfinal, which Levadia won 1–0. The league match ended with the same result: a 1–0 victory for Levadia.
Looking at the last 20 meetings between the sides, the stats are clearly in Levadia’s favor: 17 wins, 2 draws, and only 1 loss. A total of 53 goals have been scored in those games — 44 by Levadia and 9 by Trans — which makes an average of 2.65 goals per match.
Tomorrow’s game promises to be a real battle, as Trans are in good form this season. As of today, they sit fifth in the league table, just four points behind fourth-placed Paide. Levadia are the league leaders with 41 points, while Trans have 31.
Curro Torres: “This is a very important match for us against a team that always makes things difficult. We have to play really well and do everything right to get the three points.”
Ernest Agyiri: “It’s always tough against Narva, but the most important thing is to get those 3 points. We have to keep our winning streak going to stay top of the table before the Champions League qualifiers.”
Tickets for tomorrow’s match are available on Piletitasku. The weather forecast looks good, so make sure to come support the team at the stadium!
