
FCI Levadia kicks off UEFA Champions League campaign on July 8 with home match against FC RFS
FCI Levadia begins its UEFA Champions League journey in the first qualifying round against FC RFS. The opening match will take place on July 8 at 19:30 at A. Le Coq Arena, and tickets are now on sale!
Action-packed matchday for the whole family
Matchday at A. Le Coq Arena offers something for everyone. In cooperation with Halos Children’s Center, a special activity zone will be set up for young fans. Upon entering the stadium, visitors will be greeted by the Vivatbet game area, where they can participate in prize games and test their luck. The club’s mascot, lion Leff, will also be present to bring smiles to younger supporters. For snacks and refreshments, the Avatud Amps café will be open with a selection of tasty food and drinks.
Fans will also have the chance to gear up with official Levadia merchandise available for purchase. The kick-off is at 19:30, and a halftime entertainment program will begin at 20:15.
A historic rematch
Levadia and FC RFS have met once before – on February 29, 2020, they played a friendly match that ended in a 1–1 draw. Interestingly, four current Levadia players – Rasmus Peetson, Brent Lepistu, Mark Oliver Roosnupp, and Robert Kirss – also played in that match.
Current form of both teams
Both FCI Levadia and FC RFS are reigning champions in their domestic leagues. FC RFS currently sits second in the Latvian top division, having won 14 out of 19 matches, with 4 losses and 1 draw. They have 43 points and a goal difference of +25, just five points behind the leaders. Levadia, meanwhile, is leading the Estonian Premium Liiga with 41 points from 18 matches – 13 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses – with a goal difference of +28, reflecting strong performances at both ends of the pitch.

The first leg will take place on July 8 in Tallinn at A. Le Coq Arena, with the return leg scheduled for July 15 in Latvia.
