Paide defeated and three points in the bag!

The Premium League Round 12 clash between Levadia and Paide Linnameeskond delivered plenty of excitement and left no fan indifferent. The home side Levadia emerged victorious, defeating the visitors 2–1, despite both teams finishing the match with ten men.

Levadia started the match strongly – by the 5th minute the scoreboard already showed 1–0, with Ahmad Gero converting a chance created by Richie Musaba. Just a few minutes later, Musaba found the net himself, cleverly finishing off a precise pass from Lepistu to double Levadia’s lead.

The game took a dramatic turn in the 31st minute, when Green Shirts’ goalkeeper Karl Andre Vallner came off his line and brought down an opposing player – the referee responded with a red card, leaving Levadia one man down. Five minutes later, goalkeeper Oliver Ani entered the game, replacing Ernest Agyiri.

In the second half, Paide tried to capitalize on the numerical advantage and finally succeeded in the 70th minute – 2–1. However, the final twist favored Levadia again, as a Paide Linnameeskond player received a red card in the 88th minute, meaning both teams had to finish the match with ten men.

For Levadia, this marked their ninth win of the season and moved them to the top of the table with 28 points. Next up: this Wednesday we host JK Narva Trans in the semi-final of the Tipner’s Cup.
