
Levadia continues its undefeated run! 9–0 against Kalev!
On April 19, FCI Levadia secured an emphatic 9–0 victory over Tallinna JK Kalev at Sportland Arena, remaining the only undefeated team in the Premium Liiga.
The match was part of the 8th round of the Premium Liiga, and Levadia earned three important points thanks to a confident performance.
FCI Levadia started with the following lineup: Karl Andre Vallner (GK), Michael Schjonning-Larsen, Mark Oliver Roosnupp, Rasmus Peetson (C), Edgar Tur, Bubacarr Tambedou, Brent Lepistu, Mihkel Ainsalu, Til Mavretic, Richie Musaba, and Enock Otoo.
From the first whistle, Levadia took control of the game. Most of the first half was played on Kalev’s side of the pitch, and the attacking pressure soon paid off. In the 13th minute, Bubacarr Tambedou converted a penalty awarded after Enock Otoo’s pass struck an opponent’s hand.
Richie Musaba doubled the lead in the 24th minute, and Mark Oliver Roosnupp added the third goal in the 38th minute. The teams went into halftime with Levadia leading 3–0.
Several substitutions followed in the second half – in the 46th minute, debutant Victory Sunday Iboro replaced team captain Rasmus Peetson, and Ernest Agyiri came on for Richie Musaba.
Just eight minutes later, Agyiri scored Levadia’s fourth goal, and only two minutes after that, he added another – 5–0. In the 52nd minute, Bubacarr Tambedou scored his second of the match.
In the 59th minute, Henri Järvelaid, Ahmad Gero, and Frank Liivak were subbed in. Michael Schjonning-Larsen, Bubacarr Tambedou, and Edgar Tur made way.
Levadia’s dominant performance continued – Mihkel Ainsalu, the team’s vice-captain, scored in the 65th and 75th minutes, opening his tally for the season. 8–0. The final score was sealed by substitute Ahmad Gero in the 89th minute – 9–0.
FCI Levadia remains unbeaten in the Premium Liiga and is now preparing for the 9th round away match against Paide Linnameeskond. On April 26, Levadia returns to A. Le Coq Arena for a home match against Tartu JK Tammeka. Kick-off is at 19:00. Tickets are available here.
