Anname au! campaign

April is Veterans’ Month. At the Tallinn Derby on April 12th, FCI Levadia’s first team appeared for the pre-match lineup wearing Blue Cornflowers on their chests.

FCI Levadia is participating in the Blue Cornflower Campaign, which aims to encourage people to wear the Blue Cornflower badge. This is a way to honor the veterans of the Estonian Defence Forces and the Defence League, as well as their loved ones.

Since 2014, the Estonian Wounded Warriors Association, in cooperation with the Women’s Voluntary Defence Organization, has organized the Blue Cornflower Campaign every spring in April. The campaign calls for people to wear the cornflower pin to show appreciation for the veterans and their families.

In the spring of 2025, funds are being raised to support veterans and their mental health.

The campaign runs from April 1st to April 30th. During this period, Blue Cornflower-themed items can be purchased and donations made at the following points of sale: Coop, Selver, R-Kiosk, Apollo, Matkasport, Karupoeg Puhh stores, and MyFitness gyms. Across Estonia, volunteers from the Women’s Voluntary Defence Organization are also helping to collect donations through the sale of campaign items and special events.
