OFFICIAL: Captain Rasmus Peetson continues with FCI Levadia!
We are delighted to announce that FCI Levadia and captain Rasmus Peetson will continue working together to achieve shared goals in the upcoming season!
Rasmus Peetson’s journey with FCI Levadia began in the summer of 2014 when he joined us from Pärnu Linnameeskond. Over time, he has played in 249 matches for FCI Levadia, including 230 in the Premium League. Initially starting as a midfielder, Peetson transitioned to a central defender role under Serbian head coach Aleksandar Rogić. His midfield experience has been highly beneficial, as he has scored a total of 34 goals for the club. Thanks to his impressive development, Rasmus also became a key player for the Estonian national team, earning 19 caps and scoring one goal so far.
Peetson took on the captain’s role for the first time in the 2023 season following Brent Lepistu’s departure abroad. In his first year as captain, the team finished second in the Premium League after a tightly contested season, with the final standings decided on the very last matchday. In his second year as captain (2024), the team achieved resounding success, securing the league title by October 19. Overall, Peetson has fulfilled his captain’s duties admirably, leading the team towards a growing trend of success.
Throughout his career with the club, Peetson has won three Premium League titles (2014, 2021, 2024), three Tipner Cups (2018, 2021, 2024), and two Estonian Supercups (2018, 2022). His contribution to the club’s development has been remarkable, and his hard work, professionalism, and loyalty are highly valued by the club.
