Le Coq Premium Liiga season kicks off, and in the opening match we will host FC Kuressaare at Sportland Arena. Kick-off is at\u00a0<strong>12:30<\/strong>, and the stadium gates will open\u00a0<strong>one hour before the match at 11:30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What to expect on matchday?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our club mascot and everyone\u2019s favorite\u00a0Leff the Lion\u00a0will welcome fans at the stadium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A\u00a0halftime raffle with prizes from <strong>MyFitness<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MyFitness<\/strong>\u00a0will host a fun warm-up for spectators during halftime<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free hot tea and cookies\u00a0for fans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free face painting\u00a0available at the stadium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amps caf\u00e9\u00a0will be open<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fan merchandise stand\u00a0will be open<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Head coach Vjat\u0161eslav Zahovaiko before the match<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How satisfied are you with the two-month preparation period in Estonia?<\/strong><br>\u201cWe have worked with the team for two months and I can say it has been a tough period for the players, but we have managed to accomplish everything we needed. I am very satisfied with the players\u2019 work ethic and dedication. Some players have been out with injuries, but they will return soon. We played fewer matches than usual during the preparation period and therefore haven\u2019t experienced that \u2018suffering\u2019 feeling that is important. Despite that, the team has shown incredible adaptability, stoic calmness and has kept its focus high.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the goal for the season?<\/strong><br>\u201cOur biggest goal is well known within the team. We all understand the responsibility and ambitions in the same way and we are working hard for it. Personally, it is important for me to create a competitive training environment where everyone feels like an important part of the team and continues to develop.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is the starting lineup already decided?<\/strong><br>\u201cThis week there is a positive excitement in the air, because everyone is waiting for the first match. There\u2019s a nice buzz in the players\u2019 legs and the boys look confident. The starting lineup will be decided on matchday.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are your expectations for the opening round?<\/strong><br>\u201cWe want to start well and implement the ideas we have been building over the last two months. We know the abilities and potential of each player. For us, the process is important \u2013 and with that comes progress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What would you like from the fans?<\/strong><br>\u201cA true fan is loyal, demanding, loving, sometimes angry, supportive, joyful and united. In a short time I have understood that this is exactly what our club\u2019s fans are like. I wish all of us an exciting, engaging, victorious journey where we move forward together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Captain Rasmus Peetson before the opener<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Team captain&nbsp;<strong>Rasmus Peetson<\/strong>&nbsp;kept his message simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA new beginning.
