The 24-year-old defender has successfully completed his medical tests and has already trained with the team, showcasing his physical strength and presence on the pitch \u2014 he is now ready to wear the colours of FCI Levadia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abraham Nnamdi Nwankwo was born on 22 July 2001 in Ohanku, Nigeria. He began his professional career in his home country before making the move to Europe. His first major step abroad came in Turkey, where he played for\u00a0Bal\u0131kesirspor\u00a0in the Turkish second division, gaining valuable first-team experience and demonstrating his qualities as a centre-back. In total, he made 33 appearances for Bal\u0131kesirspor, scoring one goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, Nwankwo moved from Turkey to Slovenia, joining<strong>\u00a0NK Dom\u017eale<\/strong>, where he quickly adapted and became an important part of the team\u2019s defensive line. During his time at Dom\u017eale, he played regularly in the Slovenian top division as well as in UEFA Europa Conference League qualification matches. Altogether, he made 54 appearances for Dom\u017eale and scored one goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Standing at 1.90 metres tall, Nwankwo has stood out for his physical presence and strong duels, both in league matches and on the international stage, attracting the attention of FCI Levadia\u2019s sporting department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Speaking about joining the club, Abraham Nwankwo said:<br><\/strong><em>\u201cAll I can say is thank you to Almighty God for everything. I would also like to sincerely thank the Levadia family for this opportunity and the trust shown in me. I want to take this opportunity to thank my agent, who has always been by my side, as well as my friends and family. Thanks to each and every one of them. I want to give my maximum to the team and help the club achieve its set goals.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FCI Levadia\u2019s sporting department commented:<br><\/strong><em>\u201cWe wanted to add physicality to our squad and were looking for a player with these qualities. Abraham is exactly the profile we were looking for \u2014 an extremely physically strong, tall and tough centre-back. He has experience and leadership qualities and will be a great addition to our squad.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Levadia supporters have plenty to be excited about \u2014 the new centre-back has arrived and is ready to step onto the pitch and contribute to the club\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abraham and the rest of the squad will be back in action this Sunday at the EJL Football Hall, where FCI Levadia will face\u00a0Tartu JK Tammeka.
