The first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round, held on July 23 at A. Le Coq Arena, ended positively for the home side FCI Levadia \u2013 a 1\u20130 win was recorded. The second leg will take place on July 29 in Tbilisi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Levadia started the match with the following line-up:
Karl Andre Vallner (GK), Edgar Tur, Victory Iboro, Tanel Tammik, Michael Schj\u00f8nning-Larsen, Richie Musaba, Mihkel Ainsalu, Til Mavretic (C), Ernest Agyiri, Bubacarr Tambedou, and Joao Pedro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to the previous European match against RFS, head coach Curro Torres made no changes to the line-up \u2013 the same eleven took the field. However, he opted for his first substitution at half-time, bringing on Mark Oliver Roosnupp in place of Bubacarr Tambedou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the first half was largely controlled by the Georgian champions Iberia, and proved more challenging for Levadia, the second half told a different story. The break brought renewed energy, and Levadia began to show more initiative and attacking intent. Although Iberia created more chances early on, they failed to convert any.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The early second-half substitution added new momentum \u2013 Roosnupp made a solid contribution in attack, and Levadia began creating more dangerous opportunities. Later on, Robert Kirss and Carlos Torres also joined the game, replacing Richie Musaba and Til Mavretic. Shortly after, Tanel Tammik was subbed off and captain Rasmus Peetson, returning from injury, made his season debut in European competition. The substitutions added further intensity, particularly through Kirss\u2019s activity in the opponent\u2019s penalty area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decisive moment came in the 80th minute. Joao Pedro found Ernest Agyiri with a pass down the right flank. Agyiri sped past the Iberia defender and fired a powerful shot from a tight angle. The goalkeeper failed to keep it out, and the ball crossed the line \u2013 1\u20130 to Levadia!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the goal, Levadia took full control. The Georgian side\u2019s pressure faded, and Robert Kirss even found the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside. In the 82nd minute, Mihkel Ainsalu was also subbed off, making way for Aleksandre Lopes Gomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decisive second leg takes place in Tbilisi on July 29. While Levadia carry a 1\u20130 advantage, nothing is settled yet \u2013 the outcome will be decided in Georgia!
