His main tasks will include advising youth coaches and developing young players at the academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kristen Viikm\u00e4e, 45 years old, is a former Estonian international player with 115 appearances for his country, during which he scored 15 goals. He has won the Estonian championship three times: in 1998 with FC Flora, in 2003 again with FC Flora, and in 2012 with JK N\u00f5mme Kalju. In addition to his domestic career, Viikm\u00e4e has also played abroad and won the Norwegian Cup once, in 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Viikm\u00e4e\u2019s prior experience in managing club activities will certainly benefit him in his new role. Previously, he worked on the development of the Viimsi Football Academy. His years-long football career at various levels has finally brought him to FCI Levadia, where Viikm\u00e4e will help coordinate youth development and share the valuable knowledge he has acquired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kristen Viikm\u00e4e\u2019s comment: &#8220;I am very excited to join FCI Levadia\u2019s football academy, a club that has been at the top of the Estonian Premium League for many years. I look forward to the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills to elevate the level of youth development and support the players&#8217; growth. The club&#8217;s commitment to nurturing future talents through innovative and exciting projects is close to my heart. My goal is to help the club elevate its youth system to the level of European academies in the coming years. I am confident that with thoughtful work and determination, we will achieve all our set goals together.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FCI Levadia Football Academy&#8217;s sports director, Nikita Mart\u00f5nov: &#8220;We welcome the experienced Kristen Viikm\u00e4e to the FCI Levadia club. His knowledge of football and passion for developing youth football are very important for our club.
